Quest to Learn's Summer on line auction is now open.  We will continue to pursue our goal this year to raise $40,000.  Your participation is an invaluable part of our fundraising efforts. By bidding and/or donating an item, service or cash directly online, you'll be helping to raise money for our Q2L students to fund student outreach and enrichment programs, after school programs, language, art and music programs, and purchase technology and equipment, etc.

What is Quest to Learn?

Quest to Learn is a NYC public middle/high school for "digital kids". The students learn via systems-thinking pedagogy and through "games" in its curriculum. The founding parters are the Institute of Play and Parsons The New School For Design. Q2L has been featured by the NY Times, PBS'Frontline, and the Economist to name a few. Q2L PTA is currrently seeking funds to support an after-school program, extra-curricular activities, and other items to improve the Q2L's learning environment.

Design and innovation are at the heart of Quest to Learn, a school committed to helping every student to excel in the 21st century skills and literacy necessary to enter into top colleges and career ways. We believe that students today learn in different ways, often through interaction with digital media and games. We create a nurturing and vibrant instructional environment that supports ALL students in the pursuit of academic excellence, social responsibility, respect for others, and a passion for lifelong learning. Quest supports a dynamic curriculum that uses games to create challenging learning experiences. Games and digital media also model the complexity of “systems”. Understanding this complexity is a fundamental literacy of this century.
